Ice-cream or Candle...??

In life's journey, about 50% people are Icecreams, 20% people are Candles and the rest 30% are in-between.

Most of us have tasted icecream. Icecream is delicious, lipsmacking, until it melts. Then it is gone. A momentary pleasure, a tribute to Hedonism.

Most people are like Icecream, enjoy as much as possible until it lasts. They wont share, nor bother about others as long as they get their Icecream. Do whatever it takes to grab it all and enjoy it yourself. Have more, enjoy more seems to be the motto.

Candle burns to bring light. It gives off itself selflessly to bring light and brighness to the world. It shares light and enlightens lives.

Icecream and Candle are at opposite ends. One stands for selfishness, materalism and Hedonism. On other end, Candle stands for Selflessness.

Most people move from being a Icecream to Candle in the journey of life depending on their Inner transformation.

It is like a scale. One end is the Icecream at '0' and the other end is Candle at 10. Most people are somewhere in-between the extremes. Where they are on the scale depends on how much Inner work they have put in....

The journey of life is to move from being a Icecream to being a Candle...

Unfortunately most people dont get it even at the end of their lives....
