📱 Corona Saga & Cell Phone Junkies – Are We Failing Our Children?

Corona saga and cell-phone junkie...Are children addicted ?

It is the endless Covid saga again. Lock down and more lock downs. No school, online classes and promotion to next class without exams.

I was just wondering, what a damage, this epic saga is causing to our children's future. Children are learning how to become more addicted to cellphones, than doing online lessons.

Who is responsible for cultivating and enhancing the cellphone addiction in children, in name of online classes?

Is it the Corona, or the Govt, or the schools, or the helpless parents? Who is responsible for loss of innocent childhood in children? Who is responsible for destroying the foundations of child's education?

Children need playtime as much as knowledge time. What happens to play time in present scenario?

Our children are becoming more and more addicted to cell phones and are slowly forgetting the face-to-face social skills, which actually determines their success in life?

Are our children missing out on social and one-to- one communication skills which strengthens the emotional development of kids. This actually determines their most important Emotional quotient which ultimately translates into job satisfaction and success in life.

The Corona saga continues. Is it not the time for parents to ask...are we not doing injustice to our children which will have deep repurcussions to their futures.

Is it not the time to question the Govt, the educational institutions and all involved, what steps are you taking to prevent jeopardizing our child's futures.

The Corona saga has no fixed resolution in near future. But should we let our children become cell phone junkies, who have no deep foundations nor deep knowledge and who lack the social, verbal and communicative and person-skills to succeed in life?

Should we let a virus become a destructive Virus for our children's futures?
