🌊 Cruise of Life – Reflections on Purpose, Wealth, and the Ocean Within

Cruise of Life....
It was Aww..some. The stupendous expanse of sea, extending all over the horizon, where ever one's vision falls on. The gracefull seagulls hovering, the clean blue sea with huge rollers and the ever blue skyline meeting the sea on the distant horizon.....
A few days back, I had been on a sea cruise for 3 days and, I was seeing this beautiful landscape from the upper
7th floor deck. It was mid evening, very few people on the deck. But I could not stop sitting on the side bench on the deck for hours watching the ever changing kaleidoscopic view of the sea and seascapes...
Most people were in the restaurants, the bars or in their rooms, enjoying eating vast quantities of food, more vast quantities of liquor drinks and a few blasting away at the casinos. After all, the people had come to enjoy themselves and were having a real gala-time of their lifetime.
Sea cruise ships are huge with multiple decks, several restaurants, bars, theaters, shopping avenues and ofcourse casinos. The huge ship is on sea for extended period of time depending on the destination. People are confined to the ship for several days, afloat on the vast ocean.
Most people enjoy themselves, eating and drinking their heart out, gamble until they knock their purses off and watch entertainment in the huge theaters and just have a blast.
Most people are not found on vast decks. After all, when there is so much to eat n do, who wants to see the seascapes and the views of ocean?
I too did do the tour of the ship and enjoyed the multicuisine food but was more interested in sitting on the decks, enjoying the visual treat of the ocean, its changing colors and pondering about life....
It struck me that our earth too is like a vast ship sailing in the vast never ending galaxy to a unknown destination. Just like our cruise ship had everything to live n enjoy, our earth ship too had everything to sustain life, pleasures if one wants, wealth, riches etc and peace, happiness, goals, destinations, targets. Choice is ours to decide what we want. You decide and work for it and you get it.
U can choose to fill yourself with hedonistic and materialistic pleasures. Grab all the wealth, riches, fame, reputation by hook or crook methods or choose to live a life of peace, happiness, contributing to yourself and to others, to make a difference in people's life, to make a small change in people's life and to bring smiles.
Most people think that wealth and riches are in limited quantity. Actually, money, riches and wealth are in unlimited quantites in the world. The fact is, the more u contribute to the world, more the value you give to the world, more money flows to you. Money is a by-product of the contribution and the value of service, you give to people. Money is a by-product of the service n value u give to people and the world. Service and value equals money, it is so simple.
Then why do people run behind money? Rather than provide service and value to get wealthy?
In this cruise ship of life, everything is available. Decide your quest, pay the price and get your trophy. Simple isn't it? But the problem is, most people don't know what they want in life. They are like a huge ship floating in the ocean, desolate not knowing their destination nor what they want in life. They flounder in the ocean of life, battered by the huge waves and then blame destiny for not giving them what they want. But the conundrum is, they don't know what they want in life. Strange isn't it?
Decide what you want in life...the materialistic goodies or the mental goodies, peace and happiness or both. Ur choice is life's command provided your ready to pay the price....
