Flipkart of Life: A Struggling Entrepreneur’s Journey Through Debt, Loneliness, and Unexpected Love

Flipkart of Life....

Prabu feel all alone, totally alone. He felt as dark inside, as the dark night outside . . .

Morning had started off as usual with routine works atb his business operations. By afternoon, he had done reasonable good business and was looking forward to a quiet Sunday weekend.

Then the phone twitted and he saw a message..."gentle reminder"....your EMI is due tomorrow. Plz keep your account with X money for debit. Then started a series of similar messages and "gentle" warnings....

Then another last message landed from his dear wife. "Reminding you to pay 3500 Rs, which I have paid to plumber on your behalf", the message read.

God!....prabu...God!

Prabu felt overwhelmed, trapped. He had struggled to start his business, brought in money, borrowing from various banks, mortgaged his land to somehow bring in capital for business.

Prabu had a dream, no one else could see. He knew his business would flourish, eventually. It would take hardwork and Prabu was ready for it.

Last few months, had been dull in business. Maybe the year end or the dull rainy weather, collections were very low, too low. But EMIs needed to be paid. Prabu saw no other way but to raise loans from private agents.

Now his weekend was struck by "gentle reminders" for EMI payments. And his dear wife too took the opportunity to throw a reminder for her payment. How low could life go down still, Prabu lamented to himself..

What a life! Prabu cried to himself. Everybody wants money from him...the banks, the loan sharks, and all who come into his life.

Even his family, his dear wife wants money, his daughter has demands and even his mother wants money for one reason or other. ....Prabu felt all alone aganist the world which wanted just one thing from him.... Money.

Yes, there were someone who did not want any money from him. His furbabies, Seetu and Mylisie, who just wanted him, nothing else. They wanted, just the love of their dad and his presence with them. No money, no demands, no constant urge to take, except to give love.

Prabu smiled through his tears, when he saw the image of his two doggies, who rushed excitedly to greet him as he came home, tumbling over each other to give him a hug, a lick, a smiley face and to smother Prabu with wagging tails.

Yes, life is a long journey in the dark, bleary night, alone with dreams and hopes, struggling to find the strength to go on. To look inside oneself to find the strength to go on, because people outside dont care.

All you have is yourself to cry, to hold, to reach deep inside and find the strength to go on in the darkest nights.

Not just go on, but to hope, dream and persist, until the first glimmer of sunlight pierces the gloom. To say with a smile, I will go on until the dawn breaks and showers me with warmth, light and heat....

For the world to look at you and say....how did he do it? Lucky bugger. Got everything on platter.....lucky bastard. God...."Prabu" helped him and he got lucky..!!
