Heartfelt Tribute: 62 Years of Amma and Appa's Love, Strength, and Blessings"

I wrote this in 2021, when it was my parents 62 th wedding anniversary.

Ofcourse, dad passed away. Still brings tears when I read this piece...

Appa and Amma's 62 nd Anniversary was on March 12 th.

I choose not to share it on that day bcoz I was in a low phase of my life with financial, professional, personal and relationships challenges....

But, as usual, I did not forget to bow down and take their blessings.

Dad was 26 and Mum was 25 years old when they got married. It was a different world, different times....we can't even imagine it.

62 years of togetherness, caring, love, hardships, failures, successes, quarrels, arguments, making up, small conversations, plans, kids, heart-breaks, accidents, losses, deaths, births, illness, sacrifices and innumerable joys, triumphs, overcoming and going on with life ..... They had seen it all.

Appa blessed me on this day and said" this too shall pass, son" And amma as usual put Akshate and said "all will be well".

I could not help feeling tears in my eyes. Thank you Mom and Dad for all the love, caring, and giving us the greatest "Gift of life".....I can't even repay a paisa worth of what you have done for us......

You gave yourself whole- heartedly, so that we get life and become what we have become... Whatever I am is because of you, Amma and Appa.

You gave, so that we could live. God lives in heaven, yes. Appa and Amma are Gods who walk on earth, give life and shapes our lives. Every child on earth has a God in shape of mom and dad. But very few realise it. And go searching for God in temples.....

Thank you Amma and Appa. I can only bow down and live my life in your ideals, share the love and care to the world.

Happy 62 nd Anniversary Appa and Amma. God's love is your love. I am, bcoz of you both.... Love you Amma and Appa ........stay blessed ever.
