Pages of Life...
Kirana did not feel like speaking. Silence looked like a better option.
Kirana was a talker. He loved to talk. He spoke with everybody as his job was marketing.
Yes, he had to market his products. But more than that he loved people. He wanted to know their stories, their life as it enfolded. And his products were just a part of their lives.
Kirana was a genuine person at heart. He did not like to con people just to market/sell his product.
These days, he preferred silence with his wife of many years. He did not feel like talking. But he used to love talking with her for hours. He had no animosity towards her. It was just that he had changed now....
What changed? They had now become strangers in their own house. Is it that he changed or she changed? But both remain the same outside....
What changed? Was it the thoughts or the interests which changed? Did their wavelength and frequencies change? They had become like a radio which did not seem to be tuned to a proper station. So all they got was irritating static. ....So silence is better that static...right?
How do people become strangers to each other? Friends whom you knew from longtime, suddenly appear like strangers. Is it that the common thoughts and interests changed?
Did you change inside? Or the other person change? Thus ending up as strangers.....
Friendships or any relationships is build on common ground of interests, thoughts, goals, aspirations and ofcourse energies and wavelengths..
When people move on inside, it causes discoherence, lack of sync and people become like unknown people to each other.
This often happens in most of the relationships over a period of time. We change, our thoughts change, our interests change, our aspirations change, and same with the other person too....
Kirana was at loss what to do. ....No solutions. So better to let peace reign....Silence is the answer or is it??
