We are both Lord Rama and Ravana mixed together. Then why do we label, oh he is like Ravana or so good, he is like Lord Rama?

Nature loves balance. Day and night, Man and woman, sunrise and sunset, Wealth and poverty, Goodness and Cruelty, Yin and Yang, Builder and Destroyer....one cannot exist without other. That is the "Universal law of Balance".

In humans too, good and bad exist together. Without one, other cannot exist.

We are both Rama( Goodness) and Ravana( Base Cruelty) fused into one.

One cannot exist without other.

The only difference is that one predominates most of the time. Goodness predominates, you are Rama. Baser passions predominates, you are Ravana.

So why one predominates most of the time?
