The Solo Journey of Life: Finding Inner Peace, Purpose & Freedom on the Road

Solo journey of life.....

Some time back, I did a solo car- drive of about 300 Kms.

It was fun. It was silence, peace, and meditation on the highway. I went into myself and brought out some gems from my inner soul. It was soul searching on auto pilot mode.

I knew my destination. I knew the time to leave and the drive to reach it in time. I had no one to wait for. Bcoz it was only Me who decided my course, my journey, my path. I could go into autopilot, enjoy the journey, the passing of time and places without worrying about the destination.

I thoroughly enjoyed the silence of the car except the hum of the tyres on the highway, the purring of the engine and the flying of the landscape...

My brain went into auto-mode and I could reach deep inside myself, let my thoughts whirl around, until it did not matter...

It was like a series of stones thrown into a placid surface of a lake... Series of wave of thoughts and then calm surface of pond. Is this not deep meditation? Deep prayer? Turning from outside to inside? Isn't this manifesting your life from inside?

I thoroughly enjoyed my drive. I reached my destination in perfect time. I enjoyed the lovely landscapes. I met and enjoyed random conversations in cafe and wherever I parked without a care in the world. Such a lovely journey of life....

I was pondering during journey.....How lovely the journey is, when u know the destination, the reason for going there. ...

How lovely the silence of our mind, when we enjoy our own company and then the outside world does not matter. How blessed it is to go inside, enjoy our thoughts, to live in our inner world and truly enjoy it. To know the destination, the goals and the world you will build for yourself in future, without anxiety, stress and not to be bothered by other people or situations ...

In our inner world of thoughts and emotions, we build our outside world. If u desire to build a beautiful world of our own outside, first build a beautiful world inside. Look Inside , to look Outside.

The only person who really matters to you is yourself. As Wayne Dyer put it " be open to everything, but attached to nothing."

Most people try to build relationships with others all their lives, forgetting it does not matter. What matters is, are you building a relationship with yourself first? Are you building a relationship with your inner self, before you start building a relationship with others?

Are you clear about your inner world before you build the outer world of goals? Are you clear about your destination, before you start your journey of life? Do you know yourself, before you know others? Do you know the "Why" before you find the "How...?"

Ultimately we start alone and reach alone from birth to death. All others join us and leave us in path of life. We travel solo through journey of life, hoping people will join us, give us company and make us happy etc..

The only person with whom we should be making a relationship is with yourselves.

Once we know and make peace with ourselves, find our own destinations and start off on lovely journey of life; Then the life-journey will be fun, exhilarating, full of lovely landscapes.

People will join us and leave us. We will enjoy lovely time together in all passages of journey. We will be happy bcoz we have found ourselves inside.

Rest is all bonus. Bcoz we are the solo drivers of our journey. Knowing our destination and the world we must create for ourselves....we will enjoy each passing moment, each person, each situations and the drama of landscapes of life....Wow it is fun, right?
