“Doctor… all I have to do is lose weight.”

Bhupinder said it casually. As if it was very simple.

“Just need to drop a few kilos.”


But as Bhupinder spoke .....something didn’t match up....dissonance....


He wasn’t just “overweight.”

He was tired… even after sleep, hungry… even after eating, trying… but not seeing results....


And that’s where most people get stuck.


We think obesity is just about weight and extra kilos....which is a big myth.


The truth is Obesity is not just the numbers on the scale...


It’s:

“Why am I always tired?”

“Why do I crave food even after eating?”

“Why does weight come back so easily?”


So they try harder. Eat less. Cut carbs. Skip meals and do intense workouts.....


And for a while…It works......


Then slowly… It comes back....the kilos and all associated symptoms...


Not because they failed...Because the approach was incomplete.


Obesity is not just extra fat. It’s a body that’s out of rhythm.


When your body system itself is imbalanced:

-Hunger signals get confused

-Energy levels drop

-Cravings increase

-Fat storage becomes easier


So it’s not just: “You are eating too much.”

It’s: “Your body is not handling what you eat well.”


That’s why:- Two people can eat the same food… and respond completely differently.


A Simple Way to See It


Think of your body like a house.

If everything is working well:

-Energy flows

- Systems run smoothly


But if wiring is off or malfunctioning…Even small things cause problems.


Obesity is often like that. Not just excess but Imbalance too.


The Solution


Not another strict plan. Not another “start from Monday.”


Just small corrections that actually sustain.

1. Don’t Fight Hunger. Understand It. Eat real balanced food. Not just low-calorie food.


2. Eat With Rhythm

Irregular eating confuses the body.

Consistency calms the body.


3. Move, Exercise… But Don’t Punish.

Walking. Light strength exercises.

This is sustainable rather than extreme.


4. Respect Sleep

Poor sleep = poor metabolism.

This is where many struggle quietly.


The Shift


Stop saying:

“I need to lose weight.”

Start seeing:

“My body needs better balance.”

Because when the system improves…Weight follows.

Bhupinder came back after a few weeks.

“Doctor… I feel lighter.”

Not thinner.

But with more energy, less cravings and more control.
